About the comic   This is a comic about sperm. Human sperm. Their lives, their hopes and dreams, their failures and shortcomings, their victories and triumphs. I aim to record the sometimes humorous, sometimes poignant, sometimes tragic of these creatures in a way that hasn't been done to date, because, frankly, it's fiction. I have sometimes wondered if this could be considered a "furry" comic. Furries are anthropomorphic personified versions of animals. While my characters are certainly personified sperm, the question of whether a gamete is a non-human animal could certainly be raised. After all, a human sex cell is just a human body cell missing half its chromosomes. Like furry characters, I hope that though the world and characters I portray in this comic aren't quite real, some of their stories are. If I'm doing my job, they will be. About the author   I am a college student living in Denver Colorado. I have been using the alias oflanigan (after my ancestor William Bernard O'Flanigan) for years, ever since I started BBSing way back in the day. My preoccupation with gametes began during my freshman year of college while in a dormitory cafeteria when I twisted a paper napkin into the shape of a sperm.
